AKC SKY CAPTAIN THE FLYING WONDER
I personally rescued Sky Captain when he was a puppy at four months of age at a dog auction in MO. He was with his brother Majic Man. Other Afghan Hound people raised money to buy his brother and expected me to pay $1,550 at the auction for the two puppies. Being compassionate for the breed, I did purchase one of the puppies. I spent a year trying to find Sky Captain's brother, Majic Man so that they could be reunited, but the people who raised the money for him would not tell me where Majic Man was. Recently, I found out that Majic Man was put to sleep. Sky Captain was altered a few months after I rescued him.
While visiting a Chaplain of the Tulsa Police Department in Tulsa, Sky Captain made it clear that this was who he wanted to live with. He immediately made himself at home and has a new companion friend, a small Yorkie who likes to rule the nest. The rest is history...
